What should I bring?
Bring the complete, unsigned document and a current form of identification acceptable under Florida law. Additional witnesses may be required depending on the document.
Can the notary explain or prepare my legal document?
No. A notary who is not an attorney cannot select legal forms, provide legal advice, or explain the legal effect of a document. Contact a licensed attorney for legal guidance.
Can you visit hospitals and nursing facilities?
Yes. Appointments can be coordinated for hospitals, nursing facilities, assisted living communities, rehabilitation centers, hospice, and private residences.
What could prevent a notarization?
A notarization may not proceed if the signer is unavailable, unwilling, unable to communicate directly, lacks acceptable identification, appears unaware of the transaction, or if the document is incomplete.
Do you offer same-day appointments?
Same-day and rush appointments may be available. Additional scheduling or convenience fees may apply and will be disclosed before confirmation.
